Driving
From the United States, ST. ANDREWS can be reached in three hours from Bar Harbor; five hours from Portland; six hours from Boston; nine hours from New York City. St. Andrews is just beyond the Canadian border across the St. Croix River. There is an international bridge at Calais, Maine. In Canada, St. Andrews is five hours from Halifax; seven hours from Quebec City; and eight hours from Montreal.
Flying
Major United States airlines ( Delta, US Airways, American, Northwest, Continental) fly directly into Bangor, Maine several times a day from many cities throughout the Northeast and Midwest.. St. Andrews is a beautiful two-hour country drive from Bangor International Airport (BGR) past blueberry fields, forests and streams. Flights are also available into Saint John International Airport (YSJ). Saint John is one hour from St. Andrews.
