The following diagram represents the activities to be undertaken by the PSTNet in collaboration with existing and new centres of PST excellence across the country

PST Net Vision

The goal of the PSTNet is to direct and propel our nation in the research and development of online privacy, security and trust solutions while fostering expertise, increasing intellectual capital, and transforming research results into direct benefits for Canada . Our objectives are to:

• mobilize a network of Canada 's experts in privacy, security and trust to conduct research and develop innovative products, processes, and services;
• develop highly qualified personnel (HQP) specializing in privacy, security and trust issues who will build intellectual capital and bring their skills to Canada 's workforce;
• identify existing clusters of related expertise and stimulate new ones to bring together outstanding researchers in diverse disciplines from across the country who will benefit from the Network's collaborative environment and support services;
